Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

BibleSport is a ministry of Promise Ministries. The BibleSport mobile apps are published on the App Store and Google Play by Choice Information Services, Inc. on the ministry's behalf. BibleSport is available on iOS, Android and the web at https://app.biblepickleball.com.

Members sign in with their mobile number, find and register for in-person sports events (pickleball and volleyball) and Bible studies, join waitlists, pay event fees, and sign a location liability waiver.

Creating an account or using BibleSport means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 or older to create an account, register for events or sign a waiver.
• BibleSport is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit data for them.

3. Your account

• You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time text code. There are no passwords. Keep your phone secure and your number up to date.
• You must provide accurate information, including your name and your skill level.
• Your account is for you only. Do not register or sign a waiver as someone else.
• We may suspend or remove accounts for misuse of the service or for breaking these terms.

4. Text messages (SMS)

BibleSport uses text messages to sign you in and to keep you updated about your events. When you create an account you give this consent:

We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Event fees and refunds

• Event fees are for in-person events. Payments are processed by Stripe; BibleSport never receives or stores card numbers.
• Refunds are handled by the event organizer. They are not automatic.
• Contact the organizer before cancelling a paid registration or deleting your account.
• If you are on a waitlist and a spot opens, you may need to complete payment within the time stated in the notice to keep the spot.

6. Donations

Donations to Promise Ministries happen outside the app through Zelle or Venmo. They are not processed by BibleSport, and these terms do not cover them.

7. Acceptable use

Please use BibleSport the way it is meant to be used. You agree not to:

• Give false information or pretend to be someone else.
• Register for spots you do not intend to use, or interfere with other members' registrations or waitlist positions.
• Copy, scrape or misuse other members' information.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Use the service for anything unlawful, harassing or harmful.

8. Physical activity and the liability waiver

• Pickleball, volleyball and other sports involve physical exertion and a real risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk.
• You are responsible for deciding whether you are healthy enough to play. If you are unsure, talk to a doctor first.
• Each location has its own liability waiver, which you sign separately in the app before you play. That waiver is a separate agreement and applies in addition to these terms.

9. Privacy and deleting your account

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who can see it. You can permanently delete your account at any time; see Delete your BibleSport account for the steps and for what is kept afterward.

10. Disclaimers

BibleSport is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise the service will always be available, error-free or secure, or that events will take place as scheduled. Events can be changed or cancelled by their organizers.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Promise Ministries, Choice Information Services, Inc., and their staff and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of BibleSport. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid through BibleSport in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be highlighted when feasible. Continuing to use BibleSport after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
